Frontier Financial Group

Hello,
I have received a couple phone calls from a RORY from ROVO and associates who works with Frontier Financial Group. He states that I need to pay 3899 in full or I will be sued for my paying my best buy bill. This is the first time I have heard from anything having to do with my best buy account for 3 months. I just paid $180 on it in January and now they are telling me I am being sued because I defaulted on a credit card. They said they sent me a letter but I did not receive one and they sent me an e-mail, but it is very vague and telling me something completely different than the guy on the phone was telling me. I have looked online and most people tell me frontier financial group is a phony and just trying tog et your money, I just want to do what is right. Should I contact the original credit I was working with and figure this out because coughing up money to a company I am not sure of. They also have a D+ rating with the BBB.
Any advice would be great! Thank you.

My ex-husband recenlty received a call from them after numerous skip tracings for my current husband's debt.  This is not only embarassing this causes numerous problems on my end.  They were extremely rude and in fact, the first representative that I spoke with hung up on me, after yelling at me.  I am a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia and I know my legal rights and obligations.  We don't disbute that he owes the money.  But I need to see something on paper mailed to me.

When I called back, I talked with a "supervisor" who was equally as rude and nasty.  They must have a class on this - called uncustomer service.  They would not give me an opportunity to make payments or anything.  In fact, they accused my current husband of hiding!  He hasn't hid from anyone.

These people are a joke.  Go ahead and try to intimate me with your tactics for debt collection.  And I will see you in court. ***holes!

They are a complete scam organisation, trading under several other names, that include pflending which also has a false postcode. Do not under any circumstances give them any details.

This crew does a lot of spoofing.  Calls will appear on your Caller ID with the local area code every day, sometimes several times. The numbers do not generally trace back to much other than some innocent local party and more than likely you will not know them.  I guess the collectors' hope is their victim is more likely to pick up if the call looks to be local.

So, If you get a lot of calls from local numbers you do not know, it may well be these jokers.

An Olympus TP-7 microphone makes recording calls on cell or regular phone easy. So, get yourself a recorder and shoot a photo of caller ID.  This crew looks good for an FDCPA lawsuit.  There are plenty of attorneys online who will sue them on your behalf with no out-of-pocket costs to you.
