What to do when IRS turns past due tax to ca

IRS saying they will turn my past due taxes over to CA. What effect can it have on my future tax refunds?

They are simply assigning the debt to a ca...not selling it. Any future refund will be offset as long as you owe a balance.

well since you back taxes the irs will take from your refund to pay the back in the future.also they can garnish wages as well.how much back taxes do you owe?
