Can you please provide some guidance on how to deal with aggressive agencies calling about PDLs that were obtained by stealing my identity?

I have already filed a police report. I did so when I first learned of the debt. It was already 2 years old. Every 6 months or so, I start getting repeated phone calls from agencies who have bought the claim. The most recent company says they will not speak to me in detail unless I fork over the last four digits of my #SS which I am not going to do to a stranger on my cell after already having had my identity stolen. These collectors look up my cell number, do web searches, contact my family members with listed numbers, etc.

You may also file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.

Pretty easy....send them a cease and desist letter telling them to never contact you again...ever.
