i took out a title loan in the state of arizona and did not pay it can i be garnished or go to jail?

Non-payment of debt is not a criminal offense. It’s a civil case. So you can never go to jail for that. Your lender can file a lawsuit against you because of non-payment of debt. Once the court issues a judgment against you, then they can garnish your wages or place a lien on your property.


They will probably just repo your vehicle.
