Is there any legal constrains that prevents the same?

Can I lend my credit card to my friend for doing some purchase that does not asks for signature. Is there any legal constrains that prevents the same?

I wouldn't do it and would tell every one to not do the same.

Technically it would be fraud.  The card is only suppose to be used by the person whose name is on the card.
