Is it a good idea to pay one card at a time?

Is it a good idea to pay one card at a time? I pay all my bills on time. But I was thinking if it is fine to stop making payments on the other cards and payoff I credit card at a time. Thanks.

You can't really stop making payments or else it will affect your credit score. You may choose to make your minimum payments on some cards while paying off the one that charges the highest APR. You'll need to draw a budget that cuts all unnecessary expenses and allows you to save more. This way you'll be able to pay off your debts more quickly.

You need to payoff all your debts on time. Not only credit card but also other bills are equally important for you. If you don't pay the other bills on time, then the creditor will report them as delinquent and it will have a negative impact on your credit score. So it will be better for you to start making payments on time for both credit cards and other bills.
