I would like to send a certified letter to an Attorney to try to settle my debt on a monthly payment?

But doing so will the Attorney concider my letter a validation of my debt. Then will I have a lesser chance in wining the lawsuit?

Well if you are offering payments, you are admitting the debt. It is up to THEM to validate the debt, not you.  Call them and negotiate it.

I am trying to settle with them on a payment plan.   I have not received a summons, but I did settle with another attorney a few weeks ago on a different debt on a payment plan.  The current attorney also has a web site which includes a settlement plan offer.  Should I go that route? Also, will the attorney find this letter or web site letter a validation of my debt with them?

I am assuming you have already received a summons.

It would be a waste of time trying to negoiate your debt thru the mail.  They more than likely will not respond.  Are you looking to settle or make payments?  They are two different things.

Please clarify.
