I recently paid off all my credit card debt that I

I recently paid off all my credit card debt that I had. I had multiple accounts in collections due to having some financial issues. My question is that I have multiple entries listed on my credit report for the same debt - one entry is usually the credit card company themselves and another is a company they sold it to to collect. When I pay all of these off will both entries remain on my credit report?

Yep...usually negative items remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default. So you will have to wail till 7 years to remove these items from your credit report.

Yup...both with remain.  The original credit charged you off and sold it...they are entitled to report.  The new owner bought it and collect it.  As long as they reporting zero balance and are reporting accurately, they will remain for the full 7 year sol.
