I received a call from CCS offices regarding a payment which was cancelled from my bank account due to the withdrawal name. Is CCS a legitimate company? They threatened to sue do to fraud from not paying checks.

CCS Offices called, I didn’t answer as law enforcement says to not answer numbers that are unfamlliar to anyone in the house. . They didn’t leave a message on voicemail, so I figure it must not be important. You

The exact same thing just happened to me. The exact same dialogue. I know for a fact that we don't owe any money to anyone.

In the beginning, after the first few unanswered calls from ccs, I finally did answer and asked them to put me on the Do Not Call list. But, they just continued to call and ask to speak with my husband about a debt that was owed. When I stated that my husband was not home, they asked me to send them a check for $2,309, regarding a debt my husband owes from 2010. They refused to give me the company name or any other information regarding the debt. They stated that if the debt was not paid within 24 hours the NJ State Police would be coming to my home and a lien would be put on our home.
I called the New Jersey State Police (on their non-emergency line, not 911) to ask if they were a legitimate company because I was being bombarded with threatening phone calls from them. The NJ State Police stated that they have received many phone calls regarding this company and they, along with the FBI, were actively investigating them. They stated that it was a scam company and that I should not answer the phone and should contact the Better Business Bureau (which I did).
CCS was still continuing to call my home, but I did not answer the phone.
I finally just blocked CCS and all numbers affiliated with them and haven't heard from them since.
My only suggestion is to block their number from your home phone.

I just got a call from them and they keep on calling saying it's a "personal matter" and wants to speak to my husband. There is no personal matter. "Impersonal to be personal".

You can block the caller. Most modern phones have a blocking option, The way to do it varies from phone to phone. Look at your phone menu and it will direct you on how to do it, This will prevent the caller from ever reaching you, your phone won't ring and if you wish the phone tells you if and how many times they called.

They call my home at least 3to 5 times a day. Do not know what it is all about and I will never pick up so they keep calling til the cows come home.

They just called me, they're asking for my husband, stating it is a personal business matter, and will not tell me what they want from him.  She maintained her singsong voice, "Is he available? What's a good time to reach him?" I said, "He's standing right here, tell me what this is about?"

And she'd sing, "It's a personal business matter, what's a good time to reach him?"

I said, "Put us on your DO NOT CALL LIST"

And she sang, "I call back at a better time Maam.. "

I said, " NO YOU WONT"

And on and on, and she kept that singsong voice the whole time, never revealing what the call was about
