I printed off a debt settlement letter, should I sign anything I sent to a creditor? I've read that you shouldn't do that because they can use your signature in fraud, using it for something you did not sign, Also, should these letters be notarized?
Thank you for your time!

Dump the letter.  Most creditors will not negotiate thru the mail nor will they sign a letter you wrote.  Most wont even respond.

Call them, negotiate your settlement and then have them fax a letter on THEIR letterhead.
