I have two judgements that are reporting on only one report(Experian) I just looked and one is on my name but none of the information is me! I do have a fairly common name, and Experian still reports mis information. I can not remember if I was served papers for anything. I do not think I was. So what do I do? How do I dispute this to Experian?

You should be going thru the issuing court and read the dockets. If there is a judgment against you that is not yours and you were not served, you need to motion the court to have the judgment set aside for lack of service and the fact the debt is not yours.

Once you report it with the credit bureau, they have some 30 days time to carry on an investigation, and if it gets beyond this period, then they're in violation of the law. If you have a feeling that your dispute is being ignored by the CB, then you may consult an attorney.

You can send the following letter to Experian to remove the inaccurate information from your credit report:

Yes, you should dispute this account with Experian and ask them to remove the item from your credit report as you are not liable for that debt account. You can even contact an attorney and he/she can assist you in knowing what steps you need to take in order to dispute an item in your credit report.
