I have a credit card debt that I am working on and receiving a bill from the original company each month. I received a letter today from CACH, LCC via some law firm saying they have the debt and I should pay them. What do I do.

You can make a written request to the Cach, LLC for a debt validation letter via certified mail with a return receipt request. If they don’t reply then forward them a C&D letter. After that, if they are still trying to contact with you, then file a complaint against them to the State Attorney General or FTC.

If it is proved that the account has been assigned to the CA, then you''ll have to settle the debt with them. If the CA fails to validate the debt, then forward a C&D letter to them via certified mail.

You might wanna call the OC and see if they sold it.  Then send a DV letter to CASH via certified mail, return receipt requested.
