I am currently enrolled with a debt management com

I am currently enrolled with a debt management company. I have a credtior who has refused to be a a part of this plan. I have recieved a summons from them for payment. I don't have the $1,700 and they want full payment or will go to court to garnish my wages. I have attempted to reconcile this with them and they simply state "No payments, full amount only". I am not denying the debt. Any suggestions?

You should give a reply to the court summons. If it seems difficult to negotiate on your own, then you may get help from a debt relief company. You may make a written request to the court with a claim of exemption.

It is true that your creditors are not compelled to enroll into a debt managent program. You'll have to make the full payment. There is no other option. The creditor will not accept a lesser amount.

Debt management plans are done under voluntary cooperation....no creditor can be forced to take payments. FInd the cash and pay it before court and legal fees are added on.
