How do I figure out what percentage of credit using on my card?

I have heard it\'s best to stay between 10 and 25% (usage) of your credit limit. How do I figure out what percentage of credit I am using on my card? Let\'s say I have a 13k limit and currently have a balance of about 6k.

Marvel's math is a little weird.  Just take your credit limit and multiply it by 0.25.  That's 25% of your limit.

Yes, Marvel has given the correct solution. If you want to maintian a 25% credit-utilization ratio, then you'll need to maintain a balance of $3250.

This is simple mathematics. Simply divide 25 by 100 and then multiply your credit limit with it. The amount you are going to get is the limit till which you should do credit usage.
