How can I protect myself from husband’s debt when we are living separately?

My husband is moving to another state in the next month. I will live in Texas. He will live in Florida. We will remain married though. We have decided to live separately because of irrecoverable differences. I don’t want my life to be affected by his debts. So, how can I guard myself from my husband’s debt when we are living separately?

I don't want to be legally separated from my husband. I want to give it another chance. Is there no way out?

Personally I would do a legal seperation agreement in writing.

PDL's are ILLEGAL in the following states...
AR, AZ, CT, GA, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA, VT AND DC
OH AND NH have very restrictive low cost interest rate laws.
