Had a vehicle 4 years ago, it kept breaking down, could not afford payments and to keep fixing it. I voluntarily repossed it. Did not hear anything until past year hayt, hayt and Landau trying to sue me. The courts tried to dismiss the case for no activity, but hayt asked for 30 day extension. What should I do now?

I agree with Soaplady. You should check the SOL period in your state. Once it has expired, then the creditor/collection agency won’t be able to take any legal action against you. You can contact with hayt and try to negotiate with them. You may also consult with an attorney in this regard.

What was the date of the repo??  I believe that repo's come under the UCC 4 year SOL.  Sounds like the lawsuit was filed under the 4 year?

Have you spoken to an attorney?  You will probably be held liable for the deficiency balance.
