Going to OC (i.e. bank) re CC in collections/judgment/lien who also hold 2nd mortgage

Hi Edwardian,

You will have to directly contact the bank and negotiate with them so that the lien is removed. However, it remains the fact that unless you pay off the lien, it won't be removed from your property. You should also inform the bank that you have a buyer to whom you will be selling off the property and paying off the mortgage and the extened equity line. This might encourage the bank to negotiate with you and ultimately they may help you in settling the lien.
