Does paying a bill after expiration period hurt a credit profile?

Does paying a bill after expiration period hurt a credit profile? I am pretty regular with my payments. But last month I was little bit careless.

Yes, your credit score will be affected. You'll see its effect on your score very soon. Don't make late payments in future.

Expiration period???  Or do you mean grace period?  If you did not go more than 30 days late, it would not affect your credit.
