Could I be responsible for making company purchases on my employer\'s line of credit?

The line of credit was set up by an officer of the company to make purchases on and I was one of those who placed orders on that line of credit. The owners have decided to abandon all debt the company racked up. Legally, am I responsible for the purchases I made for the company on that line of credit?

The company is responsible for the debt. You don't have any responsibility. You used the card on the company's behalf.

Nope...you are simply an authorized user.  Call and have your name removed from the account.
