Can someone put a lien on your house when NO work

Can someone put a lien on your house when NO work has been done, but a contract was signed, but disagreed before money exchanged or services done. Contract was canceled in 3 days of signing and they want to hold you to the contract.

I guess we'll need more information to get a better view in this regard. I hope, if the contract gets cancelled within the cooling-off period, then they won't be able to hold you on. You should've checked that within the terms of your contract.

If no work was done or no money was exchanged, then I don't think someone can place a lien on the property. Moreover, in order to place a lien on the property, the person will have to file a lawsuit and get a judgment against you. I will suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
