Can I just ask the Credit bureau to remove since it’s past the SOL?

Do you have to send DV if my credit is past the SOL? Do I still have to go through the validation process first then send the Credit bureau the copies? Or can I just ask the Credit bureau to remove since it’s past the SOL?

You can't send a DV letter to the credit bureau. Going through the validation process is useless in this case. The credit bureau will not remove the item before the 7 year period is completed.

A DV and an account being past the SOL are not related.  Your creditor can report for 7 years from the date of last payment.  Being past your state SOL is irrelevant.
