What is the SOL for Texas, and what happens if you can not show up for court
No....they will simply get a judgment against you. Owing a debt is civil. A judge would have to issue a contempt order which almost never happens.
The SOL on your debt begins from the date of your first default. If you do not show up in the court, then the judge may issue judgment against you. Creditors can garnish your wage after receiving judgment order against you.
