GOT A CALL FROM STANLEY, LAWHORN AND ASSOCIATES ST

6 Answers

I got a call on Friday stating that this law firm Stanley, Lawhorn and Lebowsky had received a complaint about misrepresentation of a check and that they had "called me" several times but this was the only phone call received, they stated on the message that it was a message for (no sound) so no name was heard and that if I didn't resolve this matter that they would turn it back over to the company who reported the no name person and also said that "Your social security number is attached to this claim" I don't have caller ID so I don't know what number they are calling from but it was an incomplete message at the end saying "You can reach our office at 855-313" that's all there was to it. The person didn't even give a fake name or any name at all for themselves. At first I was worried that something might actually be going on but at this point I'm wondering if it's a total scam based on all of the reports that I've read and on top of that when you view their BBB complaints, they have a very low rating, they are not an accredited business and when you google them there are multiple addresses for this supposed law firm. With all the people who have been frauded from this "company" I'm honestly surprised the police have not caught up with them. Also when you google it, it shows up as a "Construction Company" in Logan, GA. There have been so many complaints filed about this company.

I don\'t know who they are and I\'ve never spoken to them however they accessed my account as withdrew money from my account. I filed a fraud.

These guys are crooks. They break the law with every phone call. They are abusive, and make threats that violate federal law. They curse and use foul language. REPORT THEM. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General in my state and with the Attorney General in Georgia. I am also going to file a police report if they call me again.

I recently recieved a similar call. When I called back they asked me what number they called me on. After a few minutes, I ended the call. Then reported it to my local authorities. They couldn\'t give me certain specific details and when I said send me a letter, the man raised his voice and began threatening me. So I Hung up.

I think this is a scam. They are trying to scare you. Don’t share any personal information with them.

You shouldn't give them your SSN number unless and untill they let you know the details of their claim. You should immediately ask them to validate the debt. Unless they do so, you shouldn't pay them anything.
