No, there is no way to consolidate debt without dropping credit score. This is because debt consolidation always hurt your credit score.

Your credit score is going to drop simply because you will be asked to fall short on your payments and the moment you do that, your creditors are going to report it to the credit bureau thereby bringing down your credit score.

So, you're telling that there is no way to consolidate debt without hurting my credit score?

Obviously Kate Kelley has never seen a credit report during and after a debt consolidation program.  Your score gets trashed....you are not paying as agreed on your cardholder agreement and your credit will suffer.

If you choose to consolidate credit card debt on your own or take help from a debt consolidation company, you will be able to maintain a good credit score and control your debts simultaneously. You need to tell the debt expert clearly that you want to keep your current credit score intact so that they may be able to offer you debt solutions that will not drop your credit score. The most obvious method for keeping your credit score in good condition is to make your credit card payments at the right time.
