Can you get a credit report without SSN?

My daughter is the authorized user of my credit card. The credit card company has not asked for her SSN. I have not also given that number to the credit card company. My question is, will it create any problem for her. I mean, will she get a credit report?

It would be easier to 'track' the information down if you CAN give a SS number. There are some lenders/CC companies that won't process applications without a SS number. I live in a small community. The lenders here (banks, car dealerships, etc) won't process any kind of paperwork without SS numbers.

Even when you don't provide a creditor with an SSN, it's not a big deal for him to obtain it with the help of your DOB, address, name etc. Such information often helps a lender to report information to the Credit bureaus or to achieve a credit report from them. Once a copy of your CR is obtained with the help of such information, then it becomes easier for your creditor to achieve your SSN.
